Sara Migliorati

Sara is a Costume Designer and Professional Bespoke Tailor from Italy, she has resided in Berlin Germany since 2014. “Alongside her designer career, she has worked in the styling department for various TV Shows including “The Voice of Germany”. Sara has designed and made costumes vor the dance company Siciliano Contemporary Ballet and has worked as freelance tailor for fashion labels.

Sara began sewing and making art works at her young age. After her studies in “Art, Fashion and Costume making” she realized that Costume Design was the career she wanted to pursue, with a special attention to historical costumes and corsetry

Leyla Liyanova

Born in Russia and raised in Germany, Leyla is a Professional Bespoke Tailor with a Bachelor of Design in Economics.

Before started her career as a Costume Designer in cooperation with Sara Migliorati in their atelier based in Kreuzberg Berlin Germany, Leyla has been working as a dresser and a tailor for film and television.

Leyla has been involved with projects including “The Voice of Germany” (TV), “Kaiser” and “Polizeiruf 110-WERDYKT” (film) , and “Lala Berlin” and “Nobi Talai” (Fashion).

Sara and Leyla are the co-founders of the upcoming “ Sara and Leyla Costumes”.
